On the PIA Plane Crash and Death of Junaid Jamshed

We are deeply saddened by the news of the deaths of Junaid Jamshed, renowned singer and da’ee (evangelist) and his wife. Junaid performed during the entertainment session at the ISNA convention in Washington DC in 2012. He and his wife were among the passengers on a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plane which crashed near a province north of Islamabad. The tragic and sudden loss of life of all those on board is saddening. To God we belong and to Him we return. May Allah forgive all those involved in the plane crash and grant them a place in heaven. May He grant the families of the victims patience during this difficult time. May Allah reward Junaid Jamshed and his wife for their service to the Muslim community throughout the world.
