Our thoughts and prayers are with those who have passed away and those who continue to be affected by COVID-19. We salute the health care workers and others who are fighting at the front lines of this global pandemic. The Islamic Society of North America has taken several steps in response to COVID-19.
On March 18, 2020, in collaboration with other national organizations (American Muslim Health Professionals, Islamic Medical Association of North American, and the Fiqh Council of North America), ISNA established the National Muslim COVID-19 Task Force. The Task Force has representation from more than 40 national organizations and is composed of policy experts, civic and religious leaders, public health and medical professionals and other experts. We have issued regular press releases, conducted webinars on COVID-19, and provided information and guidance to the community.
