The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), a 57-year-old national organization, congratulates President Elect Joe Biden and Vice President Elect Kamala Harris. We pray that may Allah (SWT) almighty God, help, guide, and strengthen them to serve our country and be a beacon of hope for the world.

We pray for our nation to come together and unite all its citizens, wherein justice and opportunity exist for all. May our newly elected leaders act with resolve and compassion for the sick, the weak, the marginalized, and for everyone in the society.

ISNA also congratulates around 60 Muslim brothers and sisters, who were elected to office at the national, state, and local levels in these elections.

ISNA has always promoted political and voter engagement.  In its meeting in 1986, ISNA board adopted a resolution for educating and encouraging the community on political engagement and for exercising their right to vote.

We pray to Almighty God to bring our country together for the common good.
