ISNA Executive Council and Board Meet at Headquarters

(Plainfield, IN 4/14/15) Over the past weekend, the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) hosted meetings for its executive council and board (Majlis Ash-Shura) at ISNA Headquarters in Plainfield, Indiana. The Executive Council meets monthly via conference call and the Majlis Ash Shura meets every two months via conference call and twice in person at the headquarters. This was the first physical meeting for both the executive council and board for the 2015 year. ISNA President Azhar Azeez noted, “I feel very blessed to have so many talented, accomplished and committed individuals who serve on the Majlis and Executive  Council of ISNA. I feel deeply honored to work with such a group of individuals and be part of this organization.” The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) is the largest and oldest Islamic umbrella organization in North America.
